Stone">Stone Interiors North America announced today that they are joining forces with Vic Green, President and CEO of VIC International, in a relationship that will add a fourth fabrication facility located Knoxville, TN. Stone">Stone Interiors-Knoxville will benefit from a highly experienced management team with extensive industry knowledge in natural stone">stone, including fabrication, installation, tooling and equipment. This team is made up of two of the most entrepreneurial and distinct companies that share a passionate vision for the future of the stone">stone Industry. Kelly Milligan, currently Vice President of operations for VIC International will be responsible for day to day activities in Knoxville and Brett Gowans, currently General Manager of stone">stone Interiors East will assist with the initial start up of the Knoxville facility. Although sharing the same location, stone">stone Interiors-Knoxville will continue to operate independently of VIC International, as it currently does. VIC International will retain its independence and continue selling industry related products throughout North America. The management teams for both companies will remain intact and both companies are positioning to support a significant growth in 2008.

VIC International is headquartered in Knoxville, TN and employs a staff of 45 selling natural stone">stone fabrication equipment, tooling, and machinery throughout North America.

stone">stone Interiors North America opened its first location in Loxley, AL and over the past ten years, has grown to become one of the largest fabricators of natural stone">stone countertops in the Southeast with facilities in New Orleans, LA and Gaston, SC. ¡°This additional facility in Tennessee will be better positioned to expand fabrication and installation opportunities throughout Tennessee and Virginia,¡± said G.K. Naquin, President of stone">stone Interiors North America. stone">stone Interiors Knoxville began operation on October 1, 2007.

The original facility located in Loxley, AL started with 7,000 square feet and seven employees and the company has grown to four facilities totaling 60,000 square feet and over 140 employees. stone">stone Interiors now has locations in New Orleans, LA and Columbia, SC and the latest addition of Knoxville, TN.
